Kevin works for lifelong learning think-tank Learning and Work Institute as a Project Officer specialising in innovative delivery, online learning and digital skills as well as leading on Learning and Work Institute’s digital outputs.  His work has included managing projects designing award winning learning apps, digital literacy toolkits and resources for learners in prisons. He also manages the Learning and Work Institute’s input to projects sharing good practice across Europe and has contributed to work around young people seeking employment and leaving care.  A promoter of the digital skills agenda, Kevin has spoken at a number of high profile events and written a provider guide to e-safety.

Having worked in the public and voluntary sectors for more than a decade, Kevin has undertaken roles as diverse as community development, youth work and corporate communications. He has also advised small charities, large colleges and local government departments on innovative working and, in particular, the use of social media for engagement and communications. A journalism graduate, Kevin’s work has featured in the Big Issue in the North and various technology publications. He previously managed a digital learning project for Telford and Wrekin Council and advised ACL providers on e-learning for Jisc.
